My poinsettia gift

They say that these are Father Xmas' favourite flowers...mine too! Same pinch on that Santa. A gift of cheer, hope and smile, it now sits on my window sill, spreading the xmas joy long before the season. This post is dedicated to my sister Rishita...I still have the 'dew on poinsettia' picture on my desk...

Autumn in full glory

So, after an unexpectedly long summer, we, here in the UK are having an glorious autumn. Despite London having its magnanimously huge green spaces, the true colours of autumn seem to come out only in the countryside, where it seems that all the green spaces are ablaze with reds, oranges and yellows. This is what I captured just in a span of 10 minutes.
